My favorite protein powder is this one from Gelatin Innovations. Gelatin is from the bones and connective tissue of animals. It is pure protein and has a different array of amino acids than whey or meats. It is high in glycine which is great for digestion, immunity, inflammation, joint and skin health, and mental relaxation. It mixes great with liquids so it is great for a post workout shake because you can just shake it in a blender bottle.
Gelatin, or collagen (same thing) is basically a processed version of bone broth. It is anti-cancerous, anti-aging and becomes more important the older you get. Drink as much as you can!

What is your power spice?
Mine is cinnamon, which helps control insulin sensitivity. In my health blueprint, I don’t handle sugar metabolism so well. I was the kid in high school who would fall asleep in class after lunch due to an insulin crash from eating a hero sandwich. So now I avoid processed grains, always have protein, fat, and fiber with my carbs, and use plenty of cinnamon. I put it on my fruit and ricotta in the morning, in my smoothies, and of course on my ice cream lol. We all have a biological pattern that doesn’t change much. The key to health is figuring it out and creating a plan based on your biochemical individuality.
